While awaiting the final procurements of the new NSRF 2014-2020 programmes that will set out the detailed funding prerequisites and terms for businesses, as well as the deadlines for the submission of proposals, businesses will need to prepare for the development and documentation of their business plans.
The “pre-publications” of the first four programmes that are announced by the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism is a first step in this preparation. These four programmes concern the following:
• Upgrading of existing very small (up to 10 employees and up to EUR 2 million turnover or total annual balance sheet) and small businesses (10 to 50 employees and up to EUR 10 million turnover or total annual balance sheet), for investments ranging from € 15,000 to € 200,000 € and, on these amounts, a subsidy rate of 40% to 50%.
• Supporting small and medium-sized tourism enterprises (up to 250 employees and up to EUR 50 million turnover or EUR 43 million total annual balance sheet) for modernization and quality upgrading investments of € 15,000 to € 150,000 and on these amounts, a subsidy rate of 40% to 50%.
• Creation of start-up businesses with 100% subsidy rate for investment plans up to € 60,000.
• Support of self-employment of higher education graduates with 100% subsidy rate for proposals from € 5,000 to € 25,000.
