SPEED has undertaken the project management, supporting services and the feasibility studies for the project with acronym “TYREL”, which is funded by the program «Research – Create – Innovate” of EPAnEK/ NSRF 2014 – 2020. Scope of the project is the production of innovative cheese products, of high nutritional value and durability, enriched with bioactive extracts of olive by-products. The consortium entities are MESSINIAKI SA, STYLIANOS LYTRAS & SONS G.P. and PharmaGnose S.A., with the participation of the Laboratory of Animal Physiology/ Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology/University of Thessaly, and the Department of Pharmacognosy and Chemistry of Natural Products / Faculty of Pharmacy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
