GrEnFIn project – Results of the online survey for the “Joint Master Degree in Green Energy and Finance”
The results of the online survey that was held from February 11 to April 10 2020 are available on the relevant page of the project site. Overall, 198 stakeholders participated, representing a significant sample across four macro-categories: Financials, Producers, Industrials, Policymakers. The observed set is well distributed across ownership, international presence and European regions.
Results from the survey clearly show the relevance of the energy transition for the respondents, highlighting that the phenomena is real, is now, and will bite more in the future. A detailed assessment of challenges stemming from the transition, both in the past/present and future, is provided in the report. Companies’ preparedness and their feeling about workforce availability are assessed as well. The relevance of skills related to Economics and Sustainability is clearly highlighted in the survey results, together with a request for soft skills training shared across the board.
