SPEED, in collaboration with the D. Economou consultancy, undertook the planning and development of business routes in the Municipality of Athens under the ATHENS programme funded by the NSRF, on behalf of The Institute of Small Businesses (IME GSEVEE). The objective of the project is to design and highlight four (4) business routes in the Municipality, as a tool to promote and diversify strategic SMEs.
It is envisaged to conduct a dynamic reading and analysis of the city of Athens through interdisciplinary research, discussions with experts and field research among the interested businesses, in order to depict the city’s history and existing business concentrations, to highlight potential thematic areas and interested parties, on the basis of which 4 business routes will be selected.
This process will be followed by the development of business routes with a detailed identification of actions to activate, utilize and preserve each business route’s sustainability.
